Mielno is a well-known spa town on the Pomeranian Baltic coast, between Koszalin and Kołobrzeg. The town lies on a narrow spit between the Baltic Sea and Lake Jamno. The wide sandy beach draws many bathers in summer.
Leisure and accommodation
Along the seaside promenade there are numerous hotels, guesthouses and leisure facilities. Many water sports options are available, as well as a small marina on Lake Jamno. The western part of the beach promenade is surrounded by dunes.
Climate
Mielno benefits from a moderate maritime climate. Summers are mild and often cool thanks to sea winds, and the air is clean and rich in sea salt. This is why the town is also considered a spa and recreation destination.
