Międzyzdroje lies on the island of Wolin on Poland's western coast. The town borders the Wolin National Park, known for its cliff coastline and pine forests.
Beach and promenade
Międzyzdroje has a wide sandy beach equipped with sun loungers and beach bars. Hotels, spa houses and restaurants line the seaside promenade. In the centre stands the famous Międzyzdroje pier, at the end of which is a concert theatre.
Sights
One of the main attractions is the 'Aleja Gwiazd' (Avenue of Stars), a path featuring handprints of Polish celebrities. A little further out stretch the shifting dunes of Wolin National Park with a striking lighthouse. The climate here is temperate-maritime with healthy sea air.
